Description

Hampstead Garden Suburb is perfectly placed in the middle of North London, among some of the most significant areas north of the river.

It's conveniently close to central London while still feeling like it has an identity of its own, also being close to some stunning countryside views and excursions. The perfect base to enjoy the big city while staying in a tranquil and calm area. With a family-friendly ambience and plenty of restaurants, local shops and pubs, it is a great starting point to explore the surrounding neighbourhood.

Flat 1, Waterlow Court, is a ground-floor one-bedroom Arts & Crafts flat near Waterlow Court's entrance.
The building is considered of architectural and historical significance, hidden in a quiet, private cul-de-sac set back from the Heath Extension on the southern border of Hampstead Garden Suburb, one of the most desirable areas of London.

This property's homely and classic decoration welcomes guests to a comfortable and relaxing stay. Furniture is mostly mid century English and Danish .
The big windows bring a lot of natural light inside all the house spaces and create a wonderful atmosphere to relax and enjoy the garden views.

Waterlow Court was designed around a central communal garden, a quadrangle, where the residents could relax and chat. A cloistered walkway, reminiscent of an Oxbridge college, surrounds the central park and allows access to the lower-ground flats and the stairwells that lead to the first and second-floor flats. A more extensive outer communal garden that can be thought of as four separate and distinct green spaces embraces the building.

Many outdoor activities, such as walking and cycling, are available all year for visitors to enjoy the beautiful green areas and parks while discovering this charming area.

Guests are close to some of London's most famous houses and gardens, including Kenwood House, a hidden gem. The House, its breathtaking interiors and its stunning art collection are free for everyone to enjoy.

Discover the vast array of masterpieces hanging in this grand setting, including Rembrandt's self-portrait, and be awed by the breathtaking beauty of architect Robert Adam's library. Golf lovers are in luck, as they can enjoy a day at the Highgate golf club, perfect for a golf day with spectacular views and gardens.

Thank You!

My wife and I simply fell in love with this getaway in North London. Just a short walk to the tube, we went everywhere and saw everything, while having the luxury of staying in Quieter North London superb. My Host was fantastic, super communicative and we never had a need or concern about anything. If we ever go back to London, I will inquire about this property 1st as it suited our needs just lovely. ”

One of Favourites!

A lovely one bedroom flat with a comfortable sitting room, modern kitchen and nice bathroom set in a beautiful early 1900’s courtyard. Couldn’t recommend it more for a couple.”
