Description

3 Grange Villas

This beautiful three bedrooms townhome is situated in the heart of the Jurassic Coast, in Charmouth. Charmouth is an attractive seaside resort with fine Regency houses and a dramatic cliff line.

The shoreline here is famous for its abundance of fossils, exposed by the constant erosion of its Jurassic rocks. In fact, the beaches between Charmouth and Lyme Regis are some of the best places to go fossil hunting. The first complete fossil of an ichthyosaurus was discovered in this area in 1811 by the 12-year-old Mary Anning. Whose finds are currently on display in the London Natural History Museum.
A heritage coast centre on the seafront provides information on the types of fossils and where they can be found.

Modern and stylishly presented, this large spacious property is ideal for family gatherings or a special occasion with friends, with off-road parking for 3-4 cars. Relax after a day at the beach in the beautiful ample open-plan living space, with new sofas and French doors looking out onto the lovely south-facing garden.

Downstairs you will also find a separate room with seating, a TV and a dedicated workstation area. The vast modern kitchen comes fully equipped and has a DeLonghi coffee machine. The garden has a patio, furniture, a sunken trampoline and BBQ. There is also a downstairs utility room with WC and washing machine.

On the first and second floors, there are four large bedrooms with brand-new beds; two king-size, one twin, and one with bunk beds (unsuitable for adults). There is a large family bathroom with a bath, shower enclosure and WC on the first floor and one additional en-suite shower in the master loft bedroom.

On your arrival, you will find some basics supplied, such as toilet rolls, tea, coffee, and biscuits, as well as cleaning paraphernalia and washing up liquid, to ensure you will ease into your holiday nicely. For families with children, there is also a range of child-friendly items that can be left out upon request.
