Renewing Getaway!

We had a very enjoyable week at this beautiful & quiet property along with 2 other couples. Good hiking in the area. The main living room/dining/kitchen is spacious and made for a great gathering place. We made some of our own meals in a well appointed kitchen but also ate dinners out in the area. The loft was a delightful place for playing cards in the evening. The 4th bedroom does not have a door (yet?) so we were happy that there were only 3 couples and not 4. The stairs to the basement ( 2 bedrooms, 2 baths located there) do not have a railing which presents challenges for those with difficulty walking. ”

Peaceful and beautiful sunny home near Angel Fire

The acreage is beautiful - you are in the middle of trees with elk, deer, prairie dogs, and rabbits as your neighbors. The Master Bed was incredibly comfortable and we enjoyed all of the natural light and the huge kitchen. There is even a desk for working remotely and internet was fast enough for video conferencing! There is plenty of room for a large group or family but also cozy for a couple (like us!). Also you are right on the "Enchanted Circle" scenic drive, so that gives you an indication of how beautiful the drives are in the area. Only 45 minute drive to Taos and 2 hrs to Santa Fe. We would love to stay again - thank you for a wonderful summer vacation!”

Magical nature retreat

John's place is a magical retreat set on 80 acres in the valley of New Mexico mountains. You will share the space with Rabbits, Squirrels, Prarie dogs, Deer and Elk. The view is amazing. It's a quiet and lovely respite from ordinary life. The house is extremely well appointed, situated only 8 minutes from Angel Fire's downtown, ski hill, Monte Verde lake and the country club. John was so helpful and responsive. We had an amazing stay and will be back.”
