August 2024Great stay!
This was our first time in the Fort Walton / Destin area and it was great. The unit was quiet and private yet close to everything - pool, beach access, garbage area, parking. It's on the first floor so no stairs or waiting at the elevator. The kids loved the pool, which wasn't ever crowded, and the beach is gorgeous. Sand (crushed quartz) like powdered sugar and crystal clear water. We weren't expecting the beach to be so nice. Also, if you're coming with kids, be sure to check out Little Adventures, which is a free service and offers kids all kinds of fun activities. You can check their schedule online and reserve a spot in classes that include surfing, stand up paddleboarding, fishing, net casting, sea creatures, etc etc. My son and I took a casting class and he had a great time. And it's free - local business owners lead the sessions and are paid by the county. The unit itself was clean, well laid-out, and everything worked. Nothing fancy, just comfortable, well maintained, and perfect for a week at the beach. And Zoe was communicative and helpful. A great stay!”
