Papakea | Hawaii Getaway with Loft

Papakea Resort, an on-the-water oceanfront resort with almost 14 acres of open grass area, tropical gardens, bamboo & palm trees, koi ponds with water fountains and walkways lighted with tiki torches.

There are 2 large pools(1 heated), 2 large Jacuzzis, 2 putting greens, 2 shuffleboards and 3 lighted tennis courts on the resort, as well as other amenities like a newly upgraded gas barbecue area. The Resort also has an activity desk with 24-hour front desk and free parking.

Papakea is adjacent to Kaanapali Beach and a short ride to the harbor town of Lahaina. There are wonderful art galleries, restaurants and shops within walking distance and in nearby Lahaina.

There is also a local farmers market a few days a week in the neighboring road behind the resort for some wonderful local fruits and other great foods.

Papakea offers free Wireless Internet access throughout the resort. For times when you wish to pursue outdoor activities, the golf courses of Kapalua and Kaanapali are nearby, and great snorkeling and boogie-boarding beaches are within walking distance.

In our unit, the main floor has two bedrooms with their own TV's.

The master bedroom is very large with plenty of closet and dresser space. It has a King-sized bed and full en suite bathroom.

The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed.

All bathrooms feature glassed in showers and granite countertops for the vanity area.

The third bedroom is a loft with three twin beds. The loft area is unique and quite large. Kids love this space!

The living area has ample seating, as well as a large TV screen.

The gourmet kitchen features halogen lighting, stainless steel appliances, cherry wood cabinets, and granite counters and bar that allow seating during meal preparation. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker. The unit comes complete with washer and dryer.

The tiled floors throughout, give it that clean, cool look and feel you desire in the tropics.

Sip your morning coffee/tea or an evening cocktail and enjoy the beautiful views of the pool and the beach from the private balcony. The evening sunsets are spectacular!!

State of the art keyless Entry system. You can walk on the beach, swim, play and not have to carry an annoying key or key card with you. Your whole party will have access and you cannot forget your key inside.
