Amazing House Amazing Host

From the moment my wife and I walked in the house we were in amazement. Between the pool, the floor to ceiling doors, the outdoor soaking tub, the rooms and kitchen, this place felt perfect. We were able to take pictures of toucans, and white face monkeys from the yoga platform. The home is very clean. You can basically do almost everything you came to Costa Rica for, within a close range from this property. There are also plenty of beaches close by, with my favorite being Playa Linda which Tim recommended. Tim was an amazing host, and very generous with his time. We were able to experience the country in so many different ways, and we truly appreciate it.”

A wonderful time

We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent in this home. Tim was a gracious host checking on us often to make sure we had everything needed for a great vacation. He even took one day to show my son, his friend and myself his ranch he is working on and took us to a river for some swimming. The house itself is quite comfortable. We used the pool just about every night after our days of exploring the area. There is so much to do from hikes, white water rafting, horseback riding, surfing.... and don't even get me started on the amazing food! It is advisable to get a 4 wheel drive as the road up is quite steep. After a day or two you get used to it though. My kids claim it was one of their top three vacations. Go! You'll love it! ”

Beautiful Retreat

The home is exquisite inside and out. We loved the gorgeous infinity pool nestled in the trees, with views of the ocean and wildlife. Our host was so helpful and gave us tips on all the best local spots, including amazing dining, hiking, spa treatments and more. Perfect in every way. ”

Amazing in all aspects

Tim is a great host who pays a lot of attention to details and who is extremely helpful. You thoroughly enjoyed our stay in his beautiful house. The view is simply breathtaking and if you are keen on yoga, there is one of the best yoga platforms we have ever seen surrounded by nature with monkeys and toucans coming to say hi. We dined mostly out and enjoyed watching movies after diner on the home cinema screen. Highly recommend. ”

Very special home and location

The house is really wonderful overlooking the water through the jungle. It is spacious and open brand new. Good that it has a pool for sure as it is really hot all day so some water and shade is great. Also super location to explore pristine beaches and waterfalls and go on hikes or zip-lining. Takes some planning to get there from US per drive from San Jose or puddle jumper but need to reserve car and flights well in advance during busy times. Also get 4 wheel drive car for sure since when leave highway it is rocks and dirt all over. (perhaps common knowledge). But super spot and host was in town and really made us feel welcome and was fun to hang out with. Great week and would love to go back.”
