September 2025A taste of remote Ireland living
This home had everything we needed for a lovely stay in the mountains of Kerry. We cooked, we hung by the fire, we enjoyed the coastline, and access to the lands of my ancestors. Everything is modern and clean. The owner had left us some eggs fresh from the hens! They were available for questions when needed. This is a remote cottage and getting anywhere requires a comfort with a lot of driving on very small and mountainous roads, which we were fine to do since we are experienced drivers in Ireland. We wish the owners well on further listings! The mountains in the mist (and rainbows) are stunning!”
