December 2025Beautiful Arrowtown escape
My family enjoyed a relaxing week at this beautifully appointed modern house in Arrowtown, South Island of New Zealand. The location can not be beat, it is a very short walk to the lovely cafes, restaurants and shops in the simply charming Arrowtown. Don't miss the stunning Japanese restaurant in town, Cave, we enjoyed the 'Trust the Chef' menu and it was outstanding. We loved the boutique cinema in Arrowtown and the Gibbston Valley trails with easy bike hire in town, be sure to enjoy a Patagonia ice cream and chocolates after your bike ride - the teens enjoyed this daily ritual! The house layout is superb with a stunning Master suite and beautiful (there were gasps!) ensuite downstairs leading to the courtyard and then two further large bedrooms upstairs with a beautiful bathroom between them. Plenty of privacy for families. We stayed in December and the roses in bloom around Arrowtown and the surrounds were amazing. The charming Christmas Eve service in a historical church was a must-do too. We were so thankful for this week and the wonderful hospitality of this lovely home. Thank you so much for hosting us.”
