Description

Casa Argentina Lodge

This unique lodge brings a slice of Argentina to the Norwegian fjords, with its warm, rhythmic décor, bullhide bedspreads, and carefully curated treasures such as an authentic gaucho belt and knife displayed on the windowsill. On the terrace, you’ll find a traditional parrilla grill, personally selected and imported by the owner, perfect for gathering friends and family for an authentic Argentinian-style asado barbecue.

Inside, the lodge offers three fully ensuite king-size bedrooms, a private sauna, and a jacuzzi terrace, all centered around a spacious open-plan dining area with a fully equipped villa-style kitchen. The lounge, extending gracefully over the water, is wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows, inviting you to gather in comfort by the fire, lulled by the sound of waves against the harbor wall and breathtaking views of the fjord and surrounding mountains.

Adjoining the lodge, a private boathouse houses your own fishing boat, along with a gas grill and a furnished veranda for open-air dining with a view. Designed by the nature-focused architects at Stein Halvorsen Architecture—the creative minds behind Norway’s iconic Sami Parliament—the property seamlessly blends contemporary comfort with natural beauty. Its interiors are enriched with artworks by renowned Norwegian contemporary artists Thor-Arne Moen and Christian Voss, specially commissioned to complement the lodge’s atmosphere and heritage.

Beyond the lodge, Fiskå and the wider Vanylven region offer a wealth of activities for every traveler. Embark on a fishing boat excursion or an antique wooden boat cruise across the fjord, or head into the mountains for scenic hikes such as the trail to the Gapahuk. Adventurers can try kayaking or paddleboarding on the fjord, while those seeking leisure can enjoy beach volleyball or a visit to Arnegarden for local culture. Families will love Hakallegarden Farm, while golfers can tee off at Vanylven Golf Club. For a taste of adventure, hike the famous Hakalletrappa, experience surfing and yoga by the coast, or ride the spectacular Loen Skylift for panoramic views. In winter, skiing at Harpefossen is within reach, and for history lovers, a boat trip to Selja Monastery offers a fascinating glimpse into Norway’s medieval past. Whether you seek relaxation, outdoor adventure, or cultural discovery, the area around Fiskå has something special to offer.
