June 2026Trip Overview from Praia da Rocha
It all started with great communication with the owner and housekeeper who gave us excellent info on the area and how things worked and then a great pickup at the airport and return to the home and similar return trip to the airport heading home. As the owner, we selected our room first and we chose the one on the first floor with no A/C and no bathroom, but with windows open and a potty just around the corner we survived right next door to the Kitchen The pool was excellent and we enjoyed laying around it. We were a half block from the Massuses and both were very good. We found plenty of places to eat our meal but the best was our chef who prepared a wonderful evening meet with a host of different foods that we enjoyed. Our older kids were with us and we really enjoyed having them with us. We played cards of some kind till near mid night every night. The site seeing was wonderful with all the beaches and shore lines with the limestone caves and sceanry. I would recommend the house for those who can adapt and enjoy all the avenues available. The prices for everything were very inexpensive and we ate Jalato every day maybe more than once. ”
