Description

High-Alpine Mountain View Cabin near Breckenridge

Panoramic high-alpine mountain views surround this three bedroom, three and a half bath cabin set on just over two acres outside Breckenridge. At approximately 11,000 feet in elevation, the air feels clear and the horizon stretches wide beyond the deck. The first minutes inside are shaped by quiet, distant ridgelines, and the sense of being fully immersed in Colorado’s upper elevations. The scale of the landscape becomes the constant backdrop to the stay.

The open kitchen, dining, and living area functions as one continuous gathering space, allowing meals, conversation, and evening downtime to unfold without separation. Windows maintain a steady visual connection to the mountains, while the lower level introduces a separate setting with a large theater screen and wet bar for films or relaxed nights in.

The primary bedroom offers privacy and comfort with its own en suite bath. Two additional bedrooms accommodate family or friends, supported by three full baths and one half bath for ease and flexibility.

A broad deck with grill extends directly from the main living area, oriented toward the surrounding peaks. A backyard fire pit is available when permitted; seasonal fire bans are common in Park County during much of the summer and must be observed when in effect. Guests have access to the entire property, including the two car garage.

Access includes approximately three miles of dirt road beginning off Highway 9 at County Road 4. The first two miles are generally flat, while the final mile includes several switchbacks. AWD or four wheel drive is required in winter conditions. Breckenridge Ski Area is approximately fifteen miles away, with typical drive times ranging from twenty two to thirty five minutes depending on season and road conditions.

For members drawn to expansive mountain scale, elevated quiet, and time together above the valley floor, the experience remains centered on uninterrupted alpine perspective.
