Suite Barrique

Suite Barrique evokes the timeless atmosphere of a traditional Sicilian wine cellar, offering a warm and distinctive 40 sqm retreat. Its design celebrates the craft of winemaking, with antique barrels thoughtfully repurposed into an original headboard for the double bed. This eye-catching detail anchors the room with rustic character and authentic charm.

From the suite, the landscape unfolds with remarkable depth and a true sense of place. Perched on the hillside, the city of Ispica rises in the distance, while the historic Carmine district and the Convento di Gesù appear in the foreground. Below, the view draws the eye toward the entrance of the canyon leading to the archaeological area of Cava d’Ispica, creating an ever-changing backdrop that connects the room to Sicily’s layered history.

A personal wine cellar within the suite completes the experience, featuring a full selection of Riofavara wines. Tastings can be arranged with the à la carte “Sip at a Time” option or enjoyed through the Full Harvest Tasting, which includes the entire collection—an inviting way to discover the estate’s character, one glass at a time.
