October 2026A beautiful quinta, wonderful hosts and fantastic wine
We really enjoyed our stay at Quinta do Outeiro 1598. Our hosts were wonderfully welcoming, and the thoughtful communication before our arrival, personal welcome and local recommendations made us feel very well looked after. The house is a special place, with beautiful architecture that combines traditional stonework with contemporary design. The peaceful countryside setting near Ponte da Barca is a lovely spot to unwind and a great base for exploring northern Portugal. Their wine was fantastic and a real highlight of our stay. Many thanks to our hosts for their hospitality and for sharing such a beautiful property with the ThirdHome community. We’d happily return and thoroughly recommend it.”
