Description

Private Safari Sanctuary in Zululand

This exceptional private safari retreat within Manyoni Private Game Reserve offers a rare sense of immersion in Zululand, where acacia trees, open savannah and an active wildlife waterhole shape the experience. Sweeping verandahs frame uninterrupted game reserve views toward Ghost Mountain, while the infinity pool and generous outdoor living spaces invite quiet observation as wildlife moves naturally through the landscape.

At the heart of the home, two refined entertainment areas bring together a spacious lounge, dining room, internal bar, fireplaces and a fully equipped kitchen designed for relaxed gatherings. Outdoors, a substantial boma, fire pit and braai area extend the setting beneath the African sky, with the waterhole providing an ever changing natural focal point.

Five private, air conditioned chalets offer a sophisticated balance of seclusion and comfort. Each includes a king bed or twin configuration, private lounge, dedicated boma, tanning deck and outdoor hot tub, complemented by indoor or outdoor bathing options. Thoughtful details include espresso facilities, teas, selected spirits, premium toiletries, quality linens and both bath and pool towels. Sun loungers, a music station and chilled refreshments enhance each chalet, allowing its occupants to move easily between restful interiors, warm water, open air and the surrounding bush.

Days unfold at an unhurried pace, from coffee on a private deck to afternoons beside the infinity pool and evenings around the fire. As darkness settles, nocturnal bird calls and movement around the waterhole bring the wilderness vividly into focus, creating a deeply private and memorable safari experience.
