Description

Treetop Escape in the Smoky Mountains

Highlights
• One-of-a-kind custom treehouse reached by a 40-foot swinging bridge, with beautiful Smoky Mountain views

• Round cedar Nordic hot tub, outdoor shower, hammock net, and multiple spaces for relaxing among the trees

• Romantic interiors with a gas fireplace, European queen bed, loft sleeping area, and distinctive natural finishes

Perched among the trees in Tallassee, this custom-built retreat combines the nostalgic charm of a treehouse with thoughtful modern comforts and beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains. The experience begins with a walk across a 40-foot swinging bridge to the grand arched entrance, setting the scene for a memorable mountain escape.

Inside, a European queen-size bed faces the surrounding scenery, while a gas fireplace with a stone chimney creates a cozy atmosphere. A rolling ladder leads to an additional queen sleeping area in the loft, positioned 26 feet above the ground. The kitchenette provides the essentials for simple meals, complemented by live-edge countertops and several coffee-making options.

Distinctive details continue in the bathroom, with double stone vessel sinks, sanded bark walls, and a glass-enclosed shower with rainfall and traditional showerheads. Outside, guests can shower beneath dual copper showerheads while looking toward the mountains, unwind on the woven hammock net, or settle into an Adirondack or rocking chair beneath the twinkle lights.

Downstairs, a spacious patio offers a grill and dining area, comfortable lounge seating, swinging egg chairs, and a round cedar Nordic hot tub. A campfire area stocked with wood and s’mores provides a fitting end to days spent exploring the surrounding mountains.
