Meh!

The resort was in a good location and very scenic. The pools were pretty and the buildings were architecturally appealling. The 3 bedroom "penthouse" condo had fantastic views with big sliding glass doors. The condo interior was very spacious and nice. Two of the four bathrooms were unusable. The master shower only had scalding hot water, master bath had no drain plug and second bathroom had strong sewer smell. The plunge pool on our balcony was warm and clean on the first day but then was not maintained and was cold and dirty for the remainder of our stay. The spa and spa ritual were excellent but are both an extra cost. We hated that after all day traveling and arriving late at night, they immediately pressure you hard to attend a four hour "breakfast presentation & invitation" about real estate at the resort. The food was not very good, was cumbersome to get and was VERY expensive, like $100+ per person for every meal. For every single drink or food order, you have to get a check and sign a bill even if you have the all inclusive. Service was good if you had the right person, but slow with some servers. The "all inclusive" excludes plenty and it is hard to tell what is excluded as they give you no information, no schedule of activities, no menus for the restaurants, no room service menu, no list of inclusions or exclusions. So, it is only at the end of your stay when you get an extra charge for the burger sliders or chicken tenders and are told that those were "premium" and not included. The shuttle every two hours to the sister resort in Cabo San Lucas was very nice. Overall, we had a nice stay and liked the resort but will try somewhere else next time. ”

Fun stay

This place is great for families. Not too crazy busy/party like other resorts. Beautiful very large property. It's not super 5 star but solid 4. It is in the middle between Cabo and San Jose so you probably should have a car.”

Cabo get away

We decided to travel to Cabos a week before spring break officially started to avoid the busy airports, best decision we could've made. We had an excellent time at Hacienda, the entire staff was courteous and professional. We will definitely be back!!”

Great resort stay

The unit was fantastic. It was away from the down town and best is to have a car since it is a hike to town and the marina. The pool is great , service was also very good. two restaurants on site we did not use either one and went to town every day for meals. The kitchen is well stocked. All around a very comfortable stay in Mexico. ”

Great Trip

Very much enjoyed our stay. It’s a really nice property, not 5 star but very pretty & well kept, a solid 4+. We stayed in the 3 bedroom penthouse & my parents were in the 2 bedroom suite. Both were well appointed & clean (few minor maintenance issues with the balcony pool & ac unit). The new spa across from Hacienda but a part of the property was FANTASTIC. The new addition has a lovely rooftop pool & bar with a restaurant overlooking the bay, food was really good there. We opted for the 7 day premium dining plan for our group. If prepaying before arrival, there was a special option to get it for about $115 per person per day. Which is a great price because the same plan once we arrived was quoted at $160. This gave us all restaurants on-site & a few by the marina in Cabo. It included steak & lobster options as well as premium drinks & wines. Well worth the money if you plan to drink & dine on-site most of your stay. We saw lots of whales in the Bay Area each day from our balcony & by the pool. Really cool but its only Nov-March that you will see them in “season”. Took a private fishing charter out but caught nothing. Won’t do that again but did enjoy the return to the Marina where we had sea lions come to our boat & were able to pet & feed them! This is our second visit to Hacienda & will likely return. ”

Fantastic Spring Break...Loved our Villa!

I loved my time at the Hacienda Encantada, the view was beautiful, the condo was very clean and well furnished...gorgeous, and the food and drink at Encantada was delicious. Moreover, the bellhop and pool staff were very welcoming, helpful and kind. My only concern was at the restaurant La Trajinera, my group felt pressured by the waiter to spend more money, and that made us uncomfortable as we tried to enjoy our meal. Other than that, we had a fabulous week and would highly recommend the resort to family and friends.”

Beautiful condo over looking the Pacific Ocean

We had a butler at the Residences at Hacienda Encantada who enhanced our trip. Our condo overlooked the pool and Pacific Ocean. The resort provides bus transportation to a sister Resort at the Marina. The Marina has multiple restaurants, clubs and shops where you should check out. We love Cabo and highly recommend going. ”

Nice penthouse, so-so resort

We stayed in the three bedroom penthouse which was well equipped, nicely decorated, and had a fabulous view across the ocean, Cabo and the arch. Bathroom and kitchen facilities were great and the mini plunge pool on the deck was a great addition (we travelled with our 5-year old who spent a lot of time in the pool). We found the resort itself a little underwhelming - certainly not 5-star quality or service. The food in the on-site restaurants was average at best (be sure to make reservations outside the hotel ahead of time if you enjoy good quality food - our favorites were Sunset da Mona Lisa, the restaurants next door at the Auberge, the Cape and Don Manuel's at the Resort at Pedegral). Don't bother with the spa - it's a horrible disappointment.”

As owners at the Residences @ Hacienda Encantada villas, we are familiar with the beautiful property and excellent service. Last year we observed the newest phase under construction. After an unanticipated event this year, we were able to reserve the 3 bedroom penthouse through ThirdHome. The accommodations were amazing! The views of the Bisbee Tournament daily start right from the balcony were spectacular. The new restaurants were convenient and added variety to our meal choices. And I can not say enough about the friendly staff and outstanding Concierge, Paola who was very responsive to every request, and beyond. We are looking forward to a return trip!”
