Spacious House in a Convenient Location

Upon arrival at the house we were pleasantly surprised - the photos posted really don't do the property justice; it is more spacious than it appears and has a cosier feel. There are 4 en-suite bedrooms, each with a fairly unique feel; 1) The master with a huge four-poster bed (although the mattress was high enough off the floor that we decided against putting our elderly parents in that room). 2) A room with a smallish double bed 3) A room with twin single beds 4) A double bedroom downstairs which was ideal for an elderly parent who couldn't really handle stairs. The downstairs bedroom also connects to a sitting room which can be divided off from the other sitting room with sliding doors - very convenient (both sitting rooms have a sofa, chair and TV). There were also two indoor dining options, one table in teh kitchen, and one in the dining room. The pool was a decent size and very well heated. A cleaner came once or twice a week to tend to it. Lots of sun loungers, outdoor table with seats and BBQ, which all worked perfectly for outdoor living. The gardens are nicely laid out and well looked after. The only negative was some kind of motor noise which was heard occasionally at night and we couldnt work out what it was - it was loud enough to wake you up. This only seemed to affect the two bedrooms on the south side of the house though. Overall though we were very happy there and it suited our needs perfectly, the nearest supermarket was about a 15 minute walk, and the main town just a tad further. ”

Casual, comfortable, inviting Southampton home just steps from town

Our family had a terrific stay. Kathleen was so helpful with maps and directions and input. We loved the proximity to Main Street shopping and restaurants. The house was comfortable, well-equipped and light and airy, and the backyard pool was a wonderful treat. A brief but wonderful trip out east!.”
