Poipu Condo

The condo is large in that there are four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, but the living space is small, so with 2 couples it was comfortable, but with more people it would have felt crowded. The only view is from the master suite, which has a small balcony. The four of us crowed there to see the sunset. The large patio off the living area is dark and closed in. The kitchen is very well stocked (though the pots and pans were dirty). The air conditioning in the master suite, the washing machine and the cable tv were all non-functioning during our stay. The swimming pool was not heated, and was very cold, so for the $699 resort fee, we got access to beach chairs and snorkeling gear, which seemed a bit pricey. (There are tennis and pickle ball courts, but there is a fee to use them.). And each bathroom was supplied with just one set of towels per person, which we had no way of washing. There’s a nice path down to the water, but the beach in front of the complex is tiny and very rocky. Poipu Beach is just another 3 minute walk next to it, but it’s a long walk there from the condo when you’re hauling beach gear. We ended up just driving to other beaches every day. Unless you love Poipu, we strongly recommend staying on the Princeville side of Kauai. ”

Beautiful Place, great location!

This large condo is in a very convenient location with a short walk to the beach and access to a nice pool/spa and gym/working space. The kitchen was very functional and we loved our stay here. It was especially nice to have access to the beach chairs/boogie board to have some fun at the beach! We would return to this property again!”
