May 2021Hyatt Highland Inn
The location and resort was very nice. Best views were from the lounge and dining room (only serving breakfast & Lunch) plus appetizers in evening. Nice gym with no one using it. In gym would be nice if there was a TV. The 2bedroom unit was on the small side and had very little light. Nice Horizon views from bedrooms or balcony. There was no housekeeping and when we asked for bathroom cleaning products they said they couldn’t provide them. Most anything else we needed was quickly provided. It would be nice to have a few streaming services on the TV. It was easy to drive into Carmel or reach golf courses. Would highly recommend Pacific Grove golf course known as “poor mans pebble beach”. Only $70 including cart. Overall a good experience.”

Fantastic stay in Carmel. Great for the kids and friends to come over and enjoy the stunning scenery and breathtaking views. A friendly staff made the stay all the better!”

the Hyatt was amazing. The two bedroom residence is a two story unit, the downstairs consists of a Kitchen (full size refrigerator, oven, stove top and microwave), a large master bath and a master bedroom that opens up to the living room. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and the wood/ kindling is located right outside the units. The upstairs consists of the second bedroom with a large bath, this bedroom is very private and away from the noise in the living room. The unit could easily accommodate to families, the couch is a pull out sleeper. There is a good sized balcony with teak furniture consisting of a table and two chairs. The units are located on the hillside and the grounds are beautiful, there is plenty of covered parking close to each unit. There are community BBQ's close to the units as well as an ice machine and washer / dryer. The Hotel bar is very spacious with probably the best views of the pacific in Carmel. We did not eat in the main restaurant as it is being remodeled. We did eat at the California Market which is their lunch/dinner restaurant and it was very good and has indoor and patio seating with good views of the ocean. The staff was super helpful, the bell hops will provide transportation on golf carts for bags if needed. There are free community bicycles onsite for use and a heated pool at 83 degrees. The gym is state of the art and was open 24 hours. We hiked the trails at Point Lobos State Park which was only a 3 minute drive from the Hyatt. We packed our own lunch but the Hyatt will pack you a picnic lunch. Safeway was only 5 minutes away. ”
