Nice Villa near the beach and on the golf course

Very clean and well presented and well designed property. The pool and deck area was wonderful with lots of space fully furnished, and the barbecue was used frequently. The location was fantastic right on a golf course next to the clubhouse and driving range and a five minutes drive to the nearest stunning beach. The surrounding area was absolutely fantastic with incredible beaches great surfing access to the motorway to give options north and south for day trips to Lisbon and Nazare. The hosts were very welcoming and left us a very kind gift which was very touching and we appreciated it The only downside was some of the mosquito nets for the windows didn’t work and as a result, we couldn’t use some of the bedrooms fully as there were no floor fans or air-conditioning facilities. But we had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend it and I’m sure those who stay here will agree. It’s a fantastic Villa. Thank you once again for our stay The Blanchard family”

Our Stay at Villa Rosa

We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Rosa. The house and outdoor sitting areas were spacious and comfortable. The Villa is well-located with easy access to the golf and resort amenities, as well as to various towns/cities and restaurants, not to mention how easy it was to access from Lisbon. The hosts were also very welcoming and the weather was superb. Thank you.”

Wonderful Stay with our family!!

Our hosts were amazing -- providing so many details of what to do and where to eat in the area. We had a wonderful time, it was a great house for a large family/friend group with a well-appointed kitchen and plenty of bedrooms snd baths. We appreciated our stay and look forward to visiting Portugal again in the future!”

Beautiful house and loads to do in the area

We loved our stay at Villa Rosa - the house has everything you might need and the area has so much to see and do. There are so many beautiful beaches close by and it was great to have the resources of the Marriott resort just down the road. Russell and Carmen were very generous hosts and we would love to visit again if the opportunity arises! ”

Great Golf Vacation Home

We spent most of a week playing golf and exploring the coastline and surrounding towns as well as a day up in Lisbon. The home is clearly set up as a rental, but the location on the golf course is a good one for golfers. The coast nearby is mostly not accessible, steep and tough to get to, but one can access beaches and surfing a short drive down the coast. The house charges a fee which mostly did not make sense as there was little to no value for the fee, but it was good to have a local person to answer questions and help with certain necessities that were missing on arrival. Overall due to the golf and pretty coastline it rates 4 stars.”

Home away from home

This place was incredibly nice. We got to use the pool even though it was january. Very close to a lot of beautiful places as Peniche, Batalha, Obidos, Fatima, Lisboa and Sintra, among other places, which made this house a very nice place to come back after very long walking days. I absolutely recomend it! However, I would be very careful with children as the place has several stairs with no protection. ”

Great for golf

The house is in a nice location if you are a golfer. Very nice beach nearby and very convenient to have a few Marriott restaurants nearby. The location is a bit remote and a bit of a drive to get to most restaurants, shops etc. . Great outdoor space at the house. House is roomy and has all the necessary equipment. The location of the person with the key to house is a bit difficult to find. It’s a left hand turn just past the only traffic light in town. Funky donkey has great pizza and very cute. ”

Portugal Paradise

Beautiful home, well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bedrooms and layout. Great pool and outdoor area. Great communication with homeowners. We had a magical week in Portugal, visited Nazaré, Obidos, several wineries and enjoyed the cold Atlantic ocean and surrounding area. Don't hesitate to stay at this beautiful home in Portugal!!”

Glorious Pool/Patio and Location

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Rosa. The location is ideal since it is a manageable drive from Lisbon. It is also near Sintra, Obidos, Tomar, Fatima and Peniche. It is a wonderful tourist area with many fine restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The resort itself has lovely beaches and a golf course (we do not golf) as well as nice dinning on site. The house has a stunning outdoor space and a lovely large pool. The interior, however, lacks both fans, screens on all windows and air conditioning. In the summer, the nights are cooler, but still humid. The kitchen was well equipped except for the lack of ice trays in the refrigerator (there is no ice maker). Parking inside the driveway gate for more than two cars would be tricky. There was only one hairdryer supplied for the entire house. Elisa Jorge at Silver Coast Homes was a helpful property manager. The weather, the food and the friendly vibe make this home in Portugal a great vacation spot.”

Villa Rosa

Immaculate property in very desirable location along Portugal's Silver Coast with three great golf courses within a 10 minute drive (the West Cliffs course was particularly spectacular). The kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked. The living and dining areas were nicely furnished and comfortable. The outdoor areas were spacious, nicely designed and relaxing, with an enclosed heated pool being an added bonus. The bedrooms and bathrooms varied in size and decor, with some being more modern and stylish than others, but all being clean and comfortable. The property agent, Elisa, was very responsive and a delight to work with. Al in all, a very nice property in a lovely location.”
