August 2025Amazing lake-front home in the Scottish Highlands
Our stay Tall Pines Lodge in Scotland could not have been better. The home itself is beautiful and the setting overlooking Loch Lochy with Ben Nevis in the background was spectacular. The lodge is large and inviting with tasteful design and decor. It has many amenities including steam and sauna, pool table, 3 fireplaces, a deck with a hot tub and beautiful Loch Lochy just steps away. The kitchen is to die for and offers everything you need for preparing a meal and a dining table that seats 14. Ben, the owner was so accommodating, giving us contacts for fishing, hunting, and sight seeing as well as local restaurants to consider. He stayed in touch with us throughout the stay and went out of his way to make our stay superb. If you are considering a Scottish vacation, Tall Pines Lodge can't be beat! ”

July 2025A magical Highland Escape - Perfect for large families
We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning property overlooking the loch – truly one of the most spectacular views. The home itself was immaculate: spacious, beautifully appointed, and ideal for a large family like ours, complete with children and a nanny in tow. Every detail was thought of, and the comfort level was exceptional. We made the most of the location – renting two boats for picnics on hidden beaches further up the loch, paddle boarding, and even swimming on sunny days. Our adventures included clay pigeon shooting, axe throwing and crossbow shooting, and an exhilarating climb up Ben Tee on foot and Ben Nevis in the bubble cars. One evening, we had a bagpiper play for us on the lawn – a magical, goosebump-inducing moment we'll never forget. Culinary highlights included fresh seafood deliveries, incredible meats from the local butcher for memorable BBQs, and meals shared with breathtaking views. This property offered the perfect balance of adventure, comfort, and luxury – an ideal retreat for families wanting to enjoy the Highlands in style. We can’t wait to return. Thank you to Ben, his wife and children for letting us use their beautiful home.”

June 2025Amazing Home and Adventure
We stayed for a week at Tall Pines and had an amazing experience! The home is located in Gairlocky, about 25 minutes from Fort William so we could make day trips there for adventures, but also made the drive to LochNess and other areas nearby. The home itself is in a perfect location to offer solitude as well as connection when you want it. The home was very modern and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out as well as well stocked for large families and toys to entertain all ages. We spent our mornings lounging by the beautiful lake fishing, paddle boarding and swimming and spent our evenings exploring nearby activities. Nightcaps included the in home spa amenities and picturesque hot tub as well. Working with Ben was great and easy and we would go back again in a heartbeat. As a family that travels the globe regularly we don’t find gems like this often, we recommend Tall Pines to all our friends and family wanting a special-off the tourist map-adventure! ”
