Surrounded by nature, olive and carob trees, and the gentle rhythms of rural Algarve life, the property offers a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquillity, just minutes from one of the region’s most charming historic towns.

Thoughtfully designed for relaxed living, the farmhouse combines natural textures, warm interiors and carefully considered details with all the comforts of a modern home. Light-filled living spaces, a fully equipped kitchen and inviting dining areas create an effortless setting for families and friends to gather, unwind and enjoy time together.

Accommodation

The farmhouse comfortably accommodates up to eight guests across four bedrooms and three bathrooms, all arranged with comfort and simplicity in mind.

One of the bedrooms is situated on a mezzanine level, accessed by stairs, and features two single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed upon request. Photographs of the property illustrate the mezzanine layout and staircase.

Each bedroom has been designed to feel welcoming and restful, with comfortable bedding, soft natural tones and thoughtful finishing touches.

Outdoor Living

Life at Quinta Atrás da Lua is best enjoyed outdoors. The private, swimming pool, sun loungers, landscaped gardens and shaded terraces invite long, leisurely afternoons beneath the Algarve sunshine. Please note that the pool is not heated, so water temperatures will naturally vary depending on the season.

An outdoor dining area and barbecue provide the perfect setting for relaxed meals, while the surrounding countryside offers a peaceful backdrop for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening under the stars.

The property also offers private parking and an electric vehicle charging point, available at an additional charge based on usage.

Located just seven minutes from Tavira, Quinta Atrás da Lua offers an ideal base for discovering the quieter, more authentic side of the Algarve.

Tavira is celebrated for its cobbled streets, traditional architecture, excellent restaurants and vibrant local markets. Beyond the town, the beautiful beaches of Ilha de Tavira and the protected landscapes of the Ria Formosa Natural Park reveal a coastline of extraordinary natural beauty.

Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to renowned courses, including Benamor, Quinta da Ria and Monte Rei, while charming fishing villages, local wineries and the Spanish border are all within easy reach.

Faro International Airport is approximately 35–40 minutes away by car.
