Description

Medieval Village House with Monaco Views

Set within the pedestrian heart of Roquebrune’s medieval old town, this recently refurbished village house combines centuries of character with comfortable contemporary living. A local architect carefully updated the interiors while preserving the home’s historic identity, including a ground floor whose origins date to medieval times.

The main level features a welcoming living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a guest bathroom, and an atmospheric dining room created within an old stone cellar. Beyond the interiors, a private courtyard and small garden provide a peaceful setting for outdoor meals, reading, or quiet conversation.

Upstairs, two air conditioned bedrooms each have a private bathroom. The queen bedroom includes a bathroom with a bathtub, while the second bedroom offers two single bunk beds. All two single beds measure 90 by 200 centimetres and are suitable for adults or children.

A cosy balcony captures a sunny outlook towards Monaco, adding a memorable backdrop to morning coffee.

The house accommodates five people and benefits from fast wireless internet. Air conditioning also serves the entire main living room. Its position on a quiet residential lane, away from vehicle traffic, creates a calm village atmosphere, while restaurants, a small market, the medieval castle, and the ancient olive tree are within a short walk.

As the old town is entirely pedestrian, vehicles must remain in public parking areas at the village entrance. Reaching the house requires an approximately five minute walk with steps, making it unsuitable for people with limited mobility.
