Description

Historic Loft with Roman Terraces

Set within one of Rome’s most authentic and characterful neighborhoods, this sophisticated historic loft brings together noble architectural heritage and refined modern comfort. Original wood beams, cotto floors, and dramatic 25 foot ceilings create an immediate sense of scale, while the generous living room offers an elegant gathering space with a comfortable lounge area and high end music system.

The home’s two terraces add a rare and highly desirable open air dimension to city living. One offers a peaceful setting for breakfast or a quiet moment after exploring Rome, while the second enhances the lower level bedroom with a charming private outdoor space. Rather than relying on broad city views, the residence draws its atmosphere from its historic surroundings, cobblestone streets, and the intimate rhythm of traditional Roman life.

Designed for up to eight guests, the loft features four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The two upstairs bedrooms each have double beds that cannot be separated into singles, creating comfortable private retreats with a refined residential feel. On the lower level, two additional bedrooms provide further accommodation, including one with its own small eat out terrace and another recently renovated room that is compact, charming, and thoughtfully appointed with a double bed.

Located on a quiet backstreet, the residence offers easy access to beloved local food shops, including a bakery, fresh pasta store, and historic handmade chocolate shop. The building maintains strict quiet regulations, making this home best suited to guests seeking a calm, elegant Roman stay rather than gatherings or events.

Great Location, spacious and confortable

We just arrived from a 4 night stay in this unique appartment in Trastevere. It is located in the most picturesque zone in Rome, with narrow cobblestone streets, many restaurants, and attractions. From there you can easily walk your way to every place in Rome. If you enjoy ancient buildings, well refurbished, high ceilings, lovely terraces, and very confortable for a large party this is just the place for you. you will get the real feeling and ambiance of living in Rome. On top of that the welcoming team is very professional and offers you many programs to choose from and they are very supportive. Thank you Martin.”
