The facilities at the Grand Residence Club were excellent. The condo was beautiful and well equipped. The entire Lake Tahoe area was very beautiful, with lots of activities, great food, and fantastic hiking. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and look forward to visiting again.”

Wonderful and relaxing

We loved our stay here. Though we moved to a quieter room overlooking the pool and gondola/mountains, as the we were first booked into a room that faced the main road which was overbearingly loud. My husband who is a heavy sleeper and no frills about things, even complained about losing sleep. But once moved to the new room, we were very happy. The property is nicely appointed with a very relaxed feel to it with its expansive lounge area on main floor, with fireplaces and cozy chairs, as well as a few games. The pool area is great too and has two hot tubs and a large pool and heated perfectly. The 1 bedroom is spacious enough for a family of 4 (2 kids) with a wall bed and comfy couch bed in the living room and a king bed in the bedroom. And another fireplace in the bedroom as well. The bathroom has a huge deep tub and there are double sinks and nice counter space. The kitchen has everything you could ask for including a crock pot and blender. And the best part is that everything is clean and tidy and new (or looks and feels new). The balcony was great to relax on and view the pool and or mountains. You are literally right at Heavenly ski resort so you have a plethora of restaurants to choose from right there and there is a Raleys (like Safeway but better with everything you need - even brands that Whole Foods carries), as well as a Rite Aid and Starbucks right across the street in a little shopping center. And a low key movie theatre right next door to the property. We drove to different parts of the lake on the East and North shore and had a very easy time getting there- about 15 to 30 minutes depending on where. ”
